Paris 2.0

So this is a post for my other outfit I wore on my Parisian break.

The shirt was perhaps my favourite purchase for the summer. It is from Reiss, which is my favourite store. I love that the material of the shirt was a blend of cotton and linen, as it was scorching hot there. I paired this shirt with black tailored trousers, simple and I had them tapered down at my calves.

As you can tell I'm wearing my Ray-Bans in the previous pics, below I'm wearing a pair of Celine sunglasses, which are super modern and unisex. My view on sunglasses are choose whichever compliment your face. I don't think many sunglasses should be gender defined anyway! Here's my version of the Blue Steel!

Hope you can let me know what you think of this amazing statement shirt.

Parisian Fashion!

Hi! I have been AWOL for a while because I've been coming up for more fashion ideas and exciting ways to display the latest trends. Now I aim to make it more consistent.

Just this past weekend I travelled to Paris, France. I hadn't been there in a very long time, so it felt like the first time again. There is a lot of style to live up to, especially in the Fashion capital!

Recently, I tried to combine smart classic looks with a modern touch. On my travel, I went with two looks. The first I will display on here. I wore a short-sleeve white shirt, with folded sleeves and combined that with some skinny chinos in a check print. I think the check print adds a certain excitement to a simple outfit and it's perfect for the summer season.

I am not particularly into short sleeved shirts but I felt a bit more confident this year and opted for the look.
This is me walking down a road in Notre Dame, the chinos were perfect, not too thick material and it didn't let me boil in the roasting sun. (It was HOT!) I'm wearing a pair of Leather plimsolls which were so comfortable and a go-to staple item in any wardrobe. I tailored the trousers so they would skim my ankle and give my feet room to breathe.

The rucksack co-ordinated with my shoes as its leather and padded. Great to avoid looking like a tourist, which is always my goal!

My sunglasses are Ray-Ban and they have a rose gold tint to them. They are a staple for any summer holiday.

My belt is from American Apparel. I love the belts from there as they stock a variety of different colours.

I hope you like this outfit and let me know what you would wear on a Parisian weekend!

Riviera Chic

Hi IQers!

It's been a while so I thought I'd post a new look. This look is very simple and will appeal to the masses of men. Every man will simply look chic wearing a white shirt. It's inevitable. (Unless you pair it with joggers, a big NO NO). With this outfit I paired a simple white shirt with my new favourite summer item. Jacquard Trousers for the summer. Patterned trousers are very in at the moment!

This look I called 'Riviera Chic' because I imagine a Hollywood movie star wearing something similar among the glamour of Cannes Film Festival and along the French Riviera.

Pair it with classic shades and matching accessories (I opted for a leather watch and bracelet)

Tell me what you think!
Until next time...

Lost in Rome

This shoot was one of my favourites and because it was so beautiful because I was in Italy for the first time!

This look was perfect for a holiday. A classic white linen shirt is perfect for a Roman Holiday. Paired with a shocking bright red pant is a cool contrast. The blue pumps were very comfortable.

Fresh For 2014!

Happy New Year from me to you. I am going to aim to publish at least a post a week (if not, I will put more up!) I really hope my style translates to many of my readers and gives you inspiration to dress fun and sophisticated. This style starts off 2014 with a bang! I have literally worn this outfit eo many times, because it's wintery, sophisticated, playful and classic.

This outfit really represents what I love to wear in the winter. I love blending earth tones such as beige and brown with classic colours such as black and white. The two collaborated well together and I really loved how it looks among the woodland setting. My ultimate essential is a winter coat. I love dressing smart and sophisticated as much as I can. The beige colour was a nice and surprising departure for me but it was a purchase I was dying to make for a long time. Beige is a very classic yet a very bold colour and the cut of the coat is important, as I am a fan of pea coats and trench style coats.

Black skinny jeans are an ultimate essential, especially in the winter, you can wear it with anything and the fact that they're skinny really helps in the cold weather. Black is a classic go-to colour rather than a blue which might not suit every style.

The brown brogues with purple accented laces create a quirky, dynamic look to a classic outfit. They have a wrinkled, vintage look which creates for a bold look. The socks are a dark mustard and really makes the outfit fit perfectly from head to toe.

Paired with the beige, I am wearing a black patterned knitted sweater which is very comfortable and smart. The cotton scarf added to enhance the knitwear and creates a cool contrast! You may spot that I'm wearing a bow tie with the outfit. The bow tie is very reminiscent of old Hollywood and preppy icons of the past. (Tip: including a tie/bow-tie/neck accessory enhances the outfit and creates a preppy look).

I also included this chunky knitted scarf and it works perfectly due to the colour being similar to the beige coat and brown brogue. I love the scarf as it looks and feels very cosy! Perfect for the cold weather ahead!

Brick Lane Fashion

Sorry IQers! It's been a while! I've been in London for a few weeks and I've had the best time ever. I'm really enjoying being independent in London and embracing everybody's individuality, freedom of expression and style!

Brick Lane is an hip area in East London which have the most amazing Vintage Fashion and Food markets, and not to forget the amazing artistic graffiti around the area. Here is my outfit I wore, reminiscing the change to the autumn/winter season.
